Historical Overview

Bejumy’s history is split into two parts. The first part is the first 2000 generations (4000 years) of the world, up until the point of Kysiky’s restoration. The second half covers the second 2000 generations of the world go up until the world’s total restoration.

The first part of the world’s history includes the creation and fall of Bejumy. Here, the Mysiky of Soul, Mind, and Body all rebelled against Sijis’boby and perverted his creation. After the Great War of the Fallen, Kysiky, Kosiky, and Kusiky were all banished from the Great Star and forced to wander the world of Bejumy for a period of time. During this time, the Kykoku built up their first city at the command of the First Kykoku, in an attempt to protect their children. Yet, despite all of their technological advancements and scientific discoveries, they could not keep their children from dying, while they themselves continued to age at the rate they were originally blessed with. Then, desperate to change the script, they turned towards the darkness to create a way out of death. Their experiences led to the creation of the Babooje and Kooboo, while they continued to construct mighty vessels to explore and dominate the Miby.

After only twenty generations, the Kykoku had increased greatly in number while the First Kykoku continued to maintain power. Then Kim’misajis and Kesimooji, tasked by Sijis’boby himself and equipped with strange devices provided by Sesiky and the Kymykoojo, entered the great city Sikoosej and sought seven noble characters, the first Kesimooji. These heroes were tasked with overthrowing and banishing the First Kykoku, which they did do. Unfortunately dark, all-consuming greed had bled into the hearts of those in command, and they killed off all but two of the heroes. Those two were rescued by Mymuky and Mebyko.

After two generations, the son of Mymuky and the rescued Simoo Kesimooji joined forces with the Sesae Kesimooji that had been rescued by Mebyko and kept in time stasis for 40 years, in order to bring about Sikoosej’s total and final destruction. With assistance from the children of Sikoosej’s ruler, a couple orphans and a mercenary, this new team of Kesimooji ultimately triumphed against the darkness and oversaw Sikoosej’s complete and total destruction.

In that time, Kybooky had gone and had a child with a kykoku man to produce the first Mekiji. This child, a man that could transform into a bear, would join forces with Kesimooji that had destroyed Sikoosej before marrying a daughter of Mymuky, a Mybasy. Together with the heroes, they formed the village of the Beastmen.

Five generations later, Kybooky had another child with a different male kykoku. This child was the first Mykoji and the founder of the great City of Technology. He originally sought to build a civilization that was wonderful to live in and full of happiness. During his lifetime, things went well. In fact, for ten generations, the City of Technology was a wonderful place to live.

Nine generations after the City of Technology’s founding, Kybooky had her third child, this time a daughter. She was fair and beautiful, save for the fact that she could transform into an insect, a feature never before seen. The girl was treated as a monster and chased out of her home, until she had been reduced to a mere animal.

One day, two mysterious travelers came to her village. There, the villagers asked the travelers to dispose of the now young woman. They went out, only to discover the horrifying truth that she was not an animal but a human being, a kykoku. The travelers took her to the village of the Beastmen where she received care and support. Then those three were called to be Kesimooji. This group of heroes would go to aid the City of Technology in one of its darkest hours. All seemed well but their number slowly disappeared. Even one of the original travelers and Kybooky’s daughter became servants of darkness.

The leader and his wife set out to acquire the necessary pieces that would allow for the creation of a new team of Kesimooji. While the wife perished, the leader did succeed in distributing the keys to the new heroes before he disappeared. The new heroes came together and were sent on a great quest to becoming Kesimooji.

The heroes of the city acheived a great victory, only to be split, some to slavery to darkness and others being forced to go into hiding. Those that hid became aware of a hidden rebel network and eventually found and saved those enslaved by darkness; both their own and those of the former Kesimooji team. They were then able to confront the fallen ruler using the Shield of Time and flee with the rebels to an isolated island.

Nearly a generation later, the Tech Kesimooji’s children rose up and began a long and brutal journey to take on and defeat the fallen ruler of the City of Technology. They suffered shame and persecution, pain and desecration. They all suffered long periods of anguished waiting and had to cling to the tiniest scraps of hope, until the the three heroes of virtue: Light (unity), Life (duty), and Time (destiny). Those three heroes led their comrades to victory against the fallen ruler’s forces, even saving him from the darkness on his heart.

After all of these things, Kybooky met with Sisiky. She demanded to know why her children all became heroes in their own rights and did not tread the path of darkness that she did. Sisiky explained: “They are not you. Their souls are not yours but their very own. You were cursed for your rebellion, but they were allowed a choice because they are not you.”

Three generations later, the First Kykoky returned to Bejumy with a great army of technology. Initially, they overwhelmed the inhabitants of Bejumy. Not even the current Heroes of Virtue could stand up to them. Victory was only possible due to the Father Kykoku killing his wife before allowing himself to be consumed by the dark powers of Kysiky. The three heroes of Virtue watched on as the Father was slowly consumed by the dark void of his arrogance.

At the end of nearly two-thousand generations, Kim’misajis and Misajik went to Amiji where Soojoobymi took the chronnicler through the past and present to show him that despite how dark things may get, there will be those whose light will be kindled. He is then granted seven keystones for seven Kesimooji. He then departs for Bejumy, along with Misajik, to seek out the seven heroes that play a role in the world’s overarching narrative.

These seven heroes are catapulted into a grand adventure of sights and scenes that mortals struggle to comprehend. They valiantly fought against the twisted constructs of the Mybooky and traveled through many pocket dimensions in order to find a way to defeat the Mybooky.

Eventually, they found a way, and, by joining forces with the Mysiky, they were able to defeat the Mybooky. Then, Sijis’boby came and resurrected Kybooky, restoring her to her enlightened state as Kysiky, but unable to return to the Castle of Light until her task rearing the three Daughters of Light and seeing them united with a future set of Sijy (virtue) Kesimooji.

The latter half of Bejumy’s history could best be described as turbulent as the land looked forward to its day of redemption. There were many wars, epidemics, and technology’s constant back and forth in development. Though times were restless, there were those that still clung to hope. Even though Jejijy, as an art, would also increase and decrease in waves through time, the thing that remained constant was the Light that shone through time from beginning to end.

In the end, the three Daughters of Light married the three Heroes of Virtue of the last generation, bringing Bejumy’s history to an end, a rebirth into a brand new, enlightened world.
