The creatures of Bejumy, called Sibaje were created originally when Sijis’boby and the Mysiky were creating the plane and began filling it with life. The plants were created first, and though they are not themselves creatures, their living properties are of note nonetheless. This is because of their close connection of the green Nature Energy and the only energy with which they can be associated with. Because of this, no creature, Lesser or Greater, shall possess of the Nature Energy or its properties.
Plants are classified by two different factors, their source of nutrition and their structure. There are three sources of nutrition: photosynthesis, carnivorous, and decomposer. There are three structure types as well: rooted, mycelium, and tuberous.
Lesser Creatures, referred to as Mebaje, are classified by their means of locomotion: Walkers, Fliers, and Swimmers. Any properties or qualities that the creature may have are not taken into consideration in the context of the broad classifications but are rather considered with regard to species and their families. While creatures are associated with, and possess qualities of energy, they are limited to Fire, Water, Crystal, Air, and Metal. Even then, an individual species is unlikely to have more than two of this selection available to them.
There are five major species: Furred, Feathered, Scalene, Smoothed, and Invertebrate. Furred is Bejumy’s version of mammals. Their most defining trait is their ability to give birth to live children. Feathered creatures are essentially birds or avian. Their defining trait is their naturally lightweight skeletons. Scalene creatures are scaled and include everything from reptiles to scaled fish. Their defining quality is their natural body armor, granting them a little extra durability. Smoothed creatures are those with smooth skin and tend to include the likes of amphibians, eels, and sharks. Their defining trait is rapid regeneration which sometimes manifests as the complete regrowth of lost limbs. Invertebrate creatures are notable for their lack of an internal structure and include things like insects, slimes and arachnids. Their greatest strength is their ability to take damage without much consequence.
The Greater Creatures, also known as Mybaje, are children of the four Mybajeky, the children of the Mysiky of Water. There are four classifications of Mybaje: the Mykoosa, mighty fliers, the Mykooku, great walkers, the Mykooka, valiant swimmers, and the Mykoomi, planar wonders. There are a few qualities unique to Greater Creatures not available to the Lesser. Greater Creatures have high levels of intelligence, many of which are able to communicate with others, including Kykoku. Greater Creatures also do not have species but do have families, each with their own properties and qualities. Like Mebaje, they have access to five of the six chromatic energies. Unlike the Mebaje, the Mybaje can also possess white Light Energy; though it is a very rare and notable trait. On top of all this, they have limited access to energy channeling, though it is nothing like what the Kykoku can accomplish.
Mykoomi are the most interesting case in the discussion of the Mybaje as there is no counterpart among the Mebaje whatsoever. The Mykoomi are said to have come about when the Crystal Siblings, Mebyko and Mymuky, worked together to spawn the first of these unique creatures. On that note, the fathers and mothers of the Greater Creatures require either pre-existing creatures or to interact with others in order to bring forth offspring. The first generation of Specters would be relegated to the Miby and, because of its nature, these creatures could only possess and have the qualities of the grey Spatial Energy.
Then there are the Boobaje, monsters of fell origins and powered by dark energies through various means. Boobaje of Bejumy are never born naturally but instead must be birthed through sick and perverted methods. They come in many forms, both gruesome and terrible. Some were undead, such as the Baboji and the Kooboo. Others were shades that dwelt in inanimate objects, referred to as Bookoob. Still others took the form of great parasitic hive-minds, called Booj’ke. But there were two of which are of great note: the Mebooj and the Boboo.
Like all Boobaje, the Mebooj are creatures of black energy. In their case, they are purely evil. They originally came from the chaos that existed after the creation of Bejumy. These serpent-like creatures could originally slither through the sky, with no need for wings or other such devices. They possess a dangerous venom, one so toxic that it can melt even the strongest materials in mere minutes. Many variants of this creature type have been seen with the passing of many generations, some of which were given humanoid bodies and mighty talons that extend from their arms.
The Boboo, like the Baboji, were fallen Kykoku. However, where a Baboji is a resurrected Kykoku that has their soul forced back into a corpse, thirsting for blood, and as such is not inherently evil in intent, the Boboo are Kykoku that fell deep into darkening arts, becoming consumed by their own greed and pride. They lose their physical bodies, and their souls become darkened, taking on a new physical form that is capable of containing their new, energetic form. Shadow Elementals are pure evil and have no regard for the wants and needs of others. Their one and only weakness is pure light from the merging of the elemental powers of the six chromatic elements. One of each basic element is required and a Simoo Kykoku is also necessary as they need to hold the energy and direct it.
