When the first seven Kykoku couples were born and united to have children of their own, there were only seven Siba. While Sijis’boby may have only initially blessed the Kykoku with seven, that didn’t mean that more wouldn’t be revealed in the future. After various forms of interbreeding and constructed methods, the total number of Siba reached fourteen unique gifts in all.
The seven original Siba are: Symisik or the Spatial Eye, Telekinesis or Kojeji, Body Paint or Kusoobe, Pure-Blood or Moosiba, Mind Link or Kikoji, Soul Sight or Kyjeji, and Illusion or Kijesoo.
Symisik individuals have the ability to both channel Spatial Energy and see other planes while in any given plane. The defining feature of this Siba is the three lines visible within the individual’s irises. These lines point out from the iris but are not connected to it. Because of the very ethereal effects of even a Siba like this, those born with this Siba are often viewed fearfully by the general public.
Kojeji individuals have the ability to use Jejijy, energy channeling, to grab objects with their mind and move them. This includes other Kykoku and even creatures. Alinement doesn’t matter with this Siba when interacting with target objects. Those with this Siba have either one or two horns growing naturally on their forehead and the shapes of these horns can vary greatly from person to person.
The Kusoobe Siba is a body enhancement that requires the user to form energy patterns on their body in order to activate and apply its effects, in proportion to the amount of energy used. The mark of this Siba is that of either one or multiple energy earings on either one or both ears. The configuration seemes to depend little on capability and tends to be more a reflection of that character’s personality. The person with this Siba must learn what paint patterns have what effects. The Kusoobe Siba amplifies one specific aspect of a person’s physical features. This includes things like high speed, super strength, and even temporarily improved eyesight.
The Moosiba Siba is best thought of as a super concentrated form of whichever attribute the person is born with. It affects both their channeling abilities and physical features, and these are unique to each attribute.
Kikoji Kykoku are born with the ability to make a mental connection with whomever they make physical contact with and plant an energy receptor on them. They are then able to exchange thoughts and images telepathically with the target. The caster has a limit of how many connections they can make at a time and that number appears in the form of rings on their left wrist, one for each connection they can make. When they make a new connection, one of the rings will glow the color of the caster’s attribute. Connections can be cut off by the caster themselves, by the one they cast on, through energy jamming, or other various means.
Kyjeji individuals are born with special eyes that allow them to see spirits and souls while also allowing them to be able to manipulate their own souls within a very fixed set of restrictions. They also feature many angelic-like abilities, including being able to sprout feathered wings. This Siba’s distinctive feature is the ethereal look their eyes have. A prominent lineage of royalty were associated with this Siba for generations until that line passed on into legend.
Kijesoo grants the one born with it the ability to mask their presence with energy. They can do this visually, audibly, and even physically if their training is just right. They have a pattern of anywhere from three to seven circles on the face and energy lines connect them all from the first point to the last but it does not loop. The connections can flow either left or right. They can also use illusions physically separate from them to aid in hiding their true location.
There are four Bexnia that resulted due to intermarriage with either Mybooky or Mesiky: Healing or Moobeba, Dragon-Born or Mybasy, Mind Acceleration or Mykoji, and Transformation or Mekiji.
Moobeba resulted from the union of a young woman and Boojimyjis. This Bexnia’s distinctive feature is an energetic third eye in the center of the forehead. It glows the color of the caster’s energy during Jejijy. The Kykoku with this Siba can offer healing through the imbuing of energy into the point of concern. It can also cleanse various ailments. It’s biggest limitation is that it cannot resurrect a being that has died.
Mybasy is the result of Mymuky marrying the first Simoo Kesimooji. Those with this Siba have elementally resistant scales on their skin which can only have one resistance at a time. The scales can be shed for new ones with a different resistance. They also have enhanced physical strength.
Mykoji is the result of Kybooky’s second Kykoku marriage. This Siba allows the Kykoku to quickly absorb and process information but at a cost. They can also project images using energy in the form of holograms. On top pf all of this, they can also sharpen individual senses, but at a cost. Their distinctive feature is an energy halo the same color as their attribute around their head.
Mekiji is the result of Kybooky’s first Kykoku marriage. Those with this Bexnia can transform into a creature that is determined through blood. The creature they can transform into also affects their physical features as they will always have two distinct features from their beast form either being added to or completely replacing parts of their physiology. They cannot take the form of mighty creatures or specters.
There are three Siba that were created, at least in part, through Kykoku manipulation: Chained Bolt or Kijejy, Omni-Elemental or Mekooji, and Synthesis or Koojoji.
Kijejy gives the Kykoku the ability to create arcs of energy that can be used for both utility and combat. They are born with distinct lightning shaped markings. This Siba came about because some Kykoku had tried to get a single Kykoku to manipulate more than one chromatic energy at a time as they desired to be like their ancestors.
Mekooji was created by the first dark lord, Boomyki the first, in an attempt to gain a greater scale of power over his growing empire. He was able to interbreed Moosiba together to get this result but it had to occur through some dark manipulations. This Siba allows a Kykoku to manipulate all six chromatic energies, regardless of the chromatic attribute they possess. They have circular markings around their wrists, base of the neck, and ankles. It was later discovered that Simoo born with this Siba would lose the ability to manipulate any of the seven energies in favor of Mechanical Energy. This resulted in Kykokul that had brown eyes, brown hair, and the same circular markings on their neck base, wrists, and ankles.
Koojoji is the product of many generations of technological advancement and development. The end result was a truly artificial Siba; the only one of its kind. It required that a Kykoku have a mechanical transmitter placed behind both ears, allowing for both mental and energetic transmission from the host to its new guests: a great many micro-entities. These entities do not allow for traditional clothing to be worn by the host, instead requiring that the entities themselves be used as a covering. They can also be reformed to create tools, weapons, various assortments of armor and even differing styles of clothing. They are naturally attuned to their host’s attribunal energy.
