The Technology of Bejumy

“Technological devices shall have but one task apiece. They alone, one function keep. While they possess energy brown, the energy of their host they can contain.”

Technology is a strange occurrence in Bejumy. As explained in the opening poem, technological devices can only have one function. This requires that complicated creations use a system of interconnected devices in order to achieve the desired result.

Technology appears in a plethora of forms throughout the history of Bejumy. Everything from simple energy weapons to massive flying battleships, there is seemingly no limit to the ingenuity of the Kykoku and of Kymykoojo.

The base of all technology must remain stable yet elementally “uncharged,” meaning that it cannot run on any energy type naturally, save for brown Mechanical Energy. The processes that are required to obtain such materials is long and arduous, having seen a great many forms and varieties over the many generations in Bejumy. All that is certain is that a process requires an equal amount of the six chromatic energies be imbued into the materials before production of devices can begin.
